Konica T2 Gallery
by PK

I own a Konica T2 which was given to me by my father, who purchased it new in 1972. Thus, this camera is older than I am (barely, but who's keeping count?). I was told that it was very commonly found in the newsrooms of newspapers in the early 70's because it was the first and only automatic SLR camera available.

My T2 is in perfect condition and I decided to finally take it out of my closet and take to the streets. The first thing I noticed about this camera is that it is quite heavy -- I am an average-sized female, and my right wrist literally got sore from carrying it around. Next time I will definitely employ the camera strap!

For my first go-round, I simply strolled about my neighbourhood and took some shots, mostly of scenery and flowers. My main goal was to determine if the camera worked. I am happy to say it passed the test.

Here are the results. The film ISO was 400.
